I’m Jani Hartikainen, a finnish web-developer. I’ve been programming since I was 12 or so. A hobby turned a job, I guess. I’ve worked with various technologies, including C# and VB.NET, C/C++, Perl and Python. My main expertise lies in PHP, JavaScript and related technologies like Ajax, though, and that probably shows from my postings.
I’ve been blogging since March 2006, more or less actively in the beginning, but these days I aim to write 1-3 posts a week, depending a bit on how busy I am otherwise. I usually talk about various web-development and programming related topics, but I also occasionally post about other tech-related things that I find interesting, which can be anything from mobile phones to usability. The reason I’m blogging is because I want to share my knowledge and ideas, and because I want to hear your opinions on them too - so comments are most welcome.
