I’m Jani Hartikainen, a finnish web-developer. I’ve been programming since I was 14, so that makes 6 years now. A hobby turned a job, I guess. I’ve worked with various technologies, including C# and VB.NET, C/C++, Perl and Python. My main expertise lies in PHP, JavaScript and related technologies like Ajax, though, and that probably shows from my postings.

I’ve been blogging since March 2006, more or less actively in the beginning, but these days I try to write at least three posts a week. I usually talk about various web-development and programming related topics, but I also occasionally post about other tech-related things that I find interesting.
