About
I’m Jani Hartikainen, a finnish web-developer. I’ve been programming since I was 12 or so. A hobby turned a job, I guess. I’ve worked with various technologies, including C# and VB.NET, C/C++, Perl and Python. My main expertise lies in PHP, JavaScript and related technologies like Ajax, though, and that probably shows from my postings.
I’ve been blogging since March 2006, more or less actively in the beginning, but these days I try to write at least three posts a week. I usually talk about various web-development and programming related topics, but I also occasionally post about other tech-related things that I find interesting. The reason I’m blogging is because I want to share my knowledge and ideas, and because I want to hear your opinions on them too.
Nowadays I’m also on Twitter. I’m probably not what you’d call a twitter power user, but I tweet the occasional random thought or thing that’s not enough for blogging, so check it out.
